Promotion of the Route in National Geographic Traveler

In July 2023, in the National Geographic Traveler magazine, the Polish Tourist Organisation promoted the Best Tourist Products in Poland with the PTO Certificate awarded in 2022. Among the promoted products was also the Opole Bifyj Culinary Trail !

City magazine „OPOLE i kropka”

From September 2022 until the end of 2023, the Opole Regional Tourist Organisation promoted the Opole Bifyj Culinary Trail in the city magazine OPOLE i kropka. In the September magazine, OROT Director Mr Piotr Mielec talked about the Route and traditional products of the Opole Province. Starting with the next issue, recipes from restaurateurs belonging to the Route are published every month.

Opole Bifyj - a true taste of the region

What would it be to discover new places, stories and history of a region without learning about its culinary traditions? After all, it is local cuisine that is often one of the important categories for choosing a destination, alongside the many interesting sights, attractions and museums. The Opole region is an ideal place for lovers of traditional flavours and people who simply want to „eat well”. The regional cuisine of the Opole region is a real highlight of travel in the region, and its diversity attracts many explorers of new culinary experiences.

Opole Bifyj Culinary Trail

Opole Bifyj Culinary Trail„ was established in 2015 through the Opole Regional Tourist Organisation. It is a fascinating journey through the region and its flavours, discovered in different restaurants Opole region! It is very popular, as are the culinary journeys themselves, which are very much to the liking of tourists in Poland! 

Opole Bifyj - a true taste of the region

The sweet and sour taste of the herring contrasts with the slightly salty herring. It is usually served with boiled potatoes, or in the local dialect, pelkartoflami.

Niemodlin stories

We have many famous carp in Poland, and among them is the Niemodlin carp. The history of the fishing ponds in this part of the Opole region and of Niemodlin itself may impress both gourmets and historians.
