The restaurant owes its popularity to both its interesting location and the local
speciality, which is Karp po Niemodlińsku. Baked in the oven under vegetables, the delicate-tasting and fragrant fish is second to none. Of course, you can also taste other local fish and dishes of typical Silesian cuisine.
The surroundings of Niemodlin are an interesting area located on the edge of the Niemodlin Forest, full of numerous ponds rich in carp.
In the town itself, the mighty bulk of one of the most historically valuable castles in Poland - the Niemodlin Ducal Castle - peeps through a pond. On its banks, on a small promontory, there is an unusually located restaurant. Its very name - Na Wyspie - says a lot about the climate of the place, especially attractive on hot summer days. It is easy to imagine the taste of fish and regional delicacies eaten on the terrace under an umbrella directly on the water.
Around the pond, amateurs try their luck at fishing and there are also fishing competitions.
